- Equinor
- Equinor, the Drax group and National Grid Ventures have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) committing them to work together to explore construction of a large-scale carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) network and a hydrogen production facility could be constructed. It is likely to be built in the UK, with the goal of achieving net zero carbon economy.
- Equinor is a project member working on the conversion of the Vattenfall’s Magnum gas-fired power plant in the Netherlands to run on hydrogen, potentially reducing Dutch CO2 emissions by up to 4 million tonnes per year.
- Shell
- Shell’s net-zero emissions with a customer-first strategy builds on Shell’s work in the hydrogen space, developing integrated hydrogen hubs to serve industry and heavy-duty transport, as well as growing its global clean hydrogen sales.
- Shell became the first branded fuel retailer to sell hydrogen at one of its retail sites in the UK.
