NGSA Statement on FERC-NERC Winter Storms Gerri and Heather Report
(Washington, D.C.) – The Natural Gas Supply Association reacted to today’s report by FERC and NERC on winter performance during Winter Storms Gerri and Heather with the following statement.
Dena Wiggins, President and CEO of NGSA, said:
“FERC-NERC’s review of winter performance during Winter Storms Gerri and Heather reflects the importance of winter preparedness. Guided by data from past events, producer-marketers honed their winterization programs in advance of the winter of 2023-2024, including adjustments to training and preparedness programs and the pre-staging of field personnel. We continue to make winter continuity a priority.”
